С этим выводом в статье я соглашусь:
Приведенная выше информация, даже без какого-либо серьезного анализа демонстрирует то, как формируются и нагнетаются этноксенофобские настроения о событиях в Кыргызстане. Ключевую роль в этом конструируемом нагнетании ситуации сыграла дипломатическая пара Харченко-Хаперская. Первая, возможно в силу излишнего пристрастия к своей академической теме этнических конфликтов, совместно с коллегой из КРСУ А.Князевым, на протяжении нескольких лет публикует и выступает в Кыргызстане и России на тему притеснения нетитульных этносов, в частности русских, в Кыргызстане. Только три последние статьи Хаперской Л., за два дня – демонстрируют очевидную пристрастность в этом вопросе. Роль Харченко В. здесь наиболее щепетильна и одновременно значительна, являясь дипломатическим лицом, по сути, официальным агентом Российской Федерации он, через призму утрированных оценок супруги доводит явно завышенную и в фактах, и в эмоционально-психологических оценках информацию до властей РФ. Как следствие совокупности подобных информационных поводов – переход восприятия на следующий уровень - Президента Д.Медведева - поручение министру обороны России А. Сердюкову обеспечить безопасность российских граждан в Киргизии и усилить защиту принадлежащих РФ объектов в стране (20.04.10). |

Вчера с ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1) khaan заехали в кафе.
Между делом стали играть в угадайку по старым советским аббревиатурам:
ОБХСС, КБФ, ВЦСПС, ДОСААФ, ОКСВА, ДРА и т.п.
Естественно, некоторые аббревиатуры загадывающему приходилось проговаривать четко, чтоб отгадывающий мог вспомнить:
О-бэ-Ха-Эс-Эс, Ка-бэ-эф, Ок-сва, дэ-рэ-а и т.п.
Тут подходит наша официантка и интересуется:
А вы это на каком языке сейчас разговариваете? |

(CBS) The assault on Pelindaba would make quite a movie. But it's a thriller that is all too real, with consequences that might have threatened the world. It was a daring break-in at a heavily guarded nuclear plant that holds enough weapons grade uranium to build a dozen atomic bombs. The story is little known, but after months of reporting, 60 Minutes can tell the tale, for the first time, through the eyes of the one man who stopped the plot. What happened at Pelindaba is the kind of thing that keeps presidents awake at night.
Pelindaba is nestled in the African bush, not far from the capital of South Africa. It is where the former Apartheid regime secretly built nuclear weapons. In the 1990s, South Africa chose to disarm. The bombs were dismantled, but the highly enriched uranium, known as HEU - the fuel for the bombs - is still there. South Africa assures the world that Pelindaba is a fortress. But, last year, on the night of Nov. 7, it was the scene of the boldest raid ever attempted on a site holding bomb grade uranium.

Most women benefit from polygyny, while most men benefit from monogamy When there is resource inequality among men—the case in every human society—most women benefit from polygyny: women can share a wealthy man. Under monogamy, they are stuck with marrying a poorer man.
The only exceptions are extremely desirable women. Under monogamy, they can monopolize the wealthiest men; under polygyny, they must share the men with other, less desirable women. However, the situation is exactly opposite for men. Monogamy guarantees that every man can find a wife. True, less desirable men can marry only less desirable women, but that's much better than not marrying anyone at all.
Men in monogamous societies imagine they would be better off under polygyny. What they don't realize is that, for most men who are not extremely desirable, polygyny means no wife at all, or, if they are lucky, a wife who is much less desirable than one they could get under monogamy.

The midlife crisis is a myth—sort of
Many believe that men go through a midlife crisis when they are in middle age. Not quite. Many middle-aged men do go through midlife crises, but it's not because they are middle-aged. It's because their wives are. From the evolutionary psychological perspective, a man's midlife crisis is precipitated by his wife's imminent menopause and end of her reproductive career, and thus his renewed need to attract younger women. Accordingly, a 50-year-old man married to a 25-year-old woman would not go through a midlife crisis, while a 25-year-old man married to a 50-year-old woman would, just like a more typical 50-year-old man married to a 50-year-old woman. It's not his midlife that matters; it's hers. When he buys a shiny-red sports car, he's not trying to regain his youth; he's trying to attract young women to replace his menopausal wife by trumpeting his flash and cash.

Есть так называемый тест Тьюринга, он используется для проверки того, является ли компьютер разумным в человеческом смысле слова. Суть теста такая:
Судья (человек) переписывается на естественном языке с двумя собеседниками, один из которых — человек, другой — компьютер. Если судья не может надежно определить, кто есть кто, считается, что компьютер прошел тест.

При помощи программы SciGen, которая генерирует случайным образом бессвязные тексты, графики и иллюстрации околонаучного содержания на тему вычислительной техники, был создан текст на английском языке. Мало того, этот текст на английском языке был позднее переведен на русский язык при помощи программы ЭТАП-3, разработанной в Лаборатории компьютерной лингвистики ИППИ РАН.
Полученную бредятину отправили в «Журнал научных публикаций аспирантов и докторантов», который по ряду дисциплин входит в рекомендательный список ВАК. Через неделю авторы эксперимента получили рецензию из редакции журнала, подготовили на основе рецензий исправления и, вуаля, еще через неделю статья была принята к публикации в журнале.
Российская наука успешно прошла тест Тьюринга! :-)
